The International Office for Human Rights Action on Colombia

Oidhaco deeply regrets that the Colombian government has suspended peace dialogues with the ELN and asks the Parties to make progress on a joint agenda for peace building

The International Office for Human Rights – Action Colombia (Oidhaco) is dismayed to learn of the car bomb attack on 17 January 2019, for which the National Liberation Army (ELN) has claimed responsibility, against the General Santander National Police Cadet School in Bogota, and expresses its solidarity with the families of the 21 deceased victims and the 68 people injured in the attack.

Likewise, Oidhaco deeply regrets that the Colombian government has put an end to the peace negotiation process with the ELN and re-issued arrest warrants against members of the Havana dialogue table.
